Nidd View Sales, what a find! Whilst very local to me, I have been fortunate enough to come across this belter of a small dealer to recently source and provide my vehicle. The Nidd View team tirelessly searched for around six weeks working with my somewhat fussy criteria on colour, mileage, specification and of course, price! At one point of just not getting what I was seeking, and just when it was becoming frustrating for all parties, I was offered the chance of purchasing a slightly higher than desired mileage vehicle that pretty much ticked all the other boxes from a main dealer who I had enquired through before Nidd View started the search, but something just didn’t feel right, and as per with large franchises It was clear I was just another number and they seemed more interested in upselling all whilst pretending I had less than half a day to make a call and place a deposit as they conveniently had 10,000 other enquires that day etc, etc, the usual dishonest nonsense! It was at that point you realise the value offered by a trustworthy smaller dealer is invaluable when making a commitment on a high spec vehicle, no nonsense, no upsell, no make believe bidding wars, just brilliant old fashioned service. So with all that in mind it was a firm no, even though I faced the prospect of waiting a few extra weeks to find the right car, but I am glad I did, as low and behold less than a fortnight later a call came in, Darren had found ‘the one!’ Albeit the price was slightly higher than the original remit, but the vehicle he had found was immaculate, it had the spec, colour, full dealer service history and even lower mileage than I could have expected, only 5k on the clock! So after a little back and forth with the seller, he only went and got it within £500 of the original budget that had been laid down, but he had a found me a vehicle that was being marketed almost 3k higher online via main dealerships so an incredible win, good things come to those who wait sometimes! If I wasn’t pleased enough, the car was collected by the team some 120 miles away and was in his possession within 24 hours! They then made sure it was spotless, had a check over by their trusted service technicians, paperwork all complete for me to collect the following day, a hectic 36 hours for them to say the least, but they pulled it off somehow. I absolutely love the car and it’s everything I had hoped for and more, not sure how it could have gone any better and that’s purely due to the persistence, professionalism and ultimately tireless work of Darren and Sarah at Nidd View. I cannot thank you enough and next time the day arrives for a car search there’ll be nowhere else to go, simply brilliant old school little business, honest, trustworthy and none of the usual perilous issues you face when looking to purchase a vehicle, I’d recommend these guys to anyone, and will continue to do so… Thanks so much Darren and Sarah for your all your hard work and wish you all the success coming that will be well deserved!
From the point of contact, by phone, the whole process of purchasing the car was flawless. We had a video call which gave us a very good appraisal of the car. This gave us the confidence to travel 80 miles to discuss the car in person. From our first meeting with Darren and Sarah Jane the whole process was perfect. We have been buying cars for over 50 years and we can genuinely say this was definitely the best experience by far. From my first visit to view a Fiat 500 through to purchasing the vehicle Darren and Sarah Jane gave me the best experience I have ever had in a garage. We were looking for a first car for our daughter & Darren was recommended to us by a friend. We told him what we were looking for, and he sourced the car for us.
